毎年山中湖で開催される日本最大のSUPファンレース、山中湖SUPerマラソン。今年も500人以上のパドラーが集まり、Team Kokuaにとって忘れられない一日となりました。
男子のメインレースでは、山中湖一周の11kmをKenny、Nari、Kaiseiの3人がレース全体を通じて先頭集団を牽引。Nariが最後のスプリントでフィニッシュを制し、Kaiseiが僅差で2位、Kennyが3位表彰台を締めくくりました。
女子のレースでは、Natsumiが再び頂点に立ち、今シーズンよりチームに加入したKanaeが力強い走りで3位入賞を果たし、表彰台を飾りました。
また今大会は、新パドルClassic Xのレースデビューの場ともなりました。
チームライダー全員が初めてレースで使用し、その性能を存分に発揮しました。

今回のイベントに参加し、これほど多くの方々がSUPというスポーツを楽しんでいる姿を目にすることができて、本当に嬉しく思いました。また、日々の練習を積み重ねてきたTeam Kokuaの選手たちが、その成果をしっかりと結果に結びつけてくれたことを誇りに思います。
Classic Xのローンチという意味でも、私たちにとって特別な一日となりました。チームメンバーはもちろん、実際に使用してくださった皆さんからも嬉しいフィードバックをたくさんいただき、このパドルをより多くの方に体験していただける日がますます楽しみになっています。

5年目の出場。
レース展開や自分の漕ぎについてはまだまだ課題は尽きないけれど、5連覇できたこと、そしてチーム全員で表彰台を飾れたこと、嬉しく思います。
国内レースでは参加者が最多のこの大会は、毎年レースとして自分の中でも重要度が高いのですが、それ以上に全国のパドラーの皆さんと交流できる貴重な日としてとても楽しみな1日。今年もたくさんの方と言葉を交わし、共に漕げたことでモチベーションをもらえました。
チームも若い力が増えて頼もしく、良いエネルギーで満ちています。このチームで走っていくのがこれから楽しみです。

今シーズン初のレースを優勝で終えることができいいスタートを切ることができました。
CLASSIC Xが最高の漕ぎ感を生み出してくれたお陰で今シーズンのレースがとても楽しみです。

今回はじめて出場した山中湖スーパーマラソン！富士山を前に自然豊かな山中湖でのレースはとてもワクワクして楽しかったです。悔しい気持ちを次への力に変えて、また練習を積み重ねていきたいと思います。また、今回のレースを通じてたくさんの方と出会えたことも私にとって大きな刺激になりました！みなさん、またどこかの大会でお会いしましょう！(^^)

レースの結果も大切ですが、こうして遠くから集まって楽しくSUPについて話せることがとても楽しかったです！滅多に会えず，練習する場所も環境もバラバラの中、お互いに高め合うことができてとても幸せです！

The Yamanakako SUPer Marathon returned once again to the shores of Lake Yamanaka, drawing over 500 paddlers for the largest SUP race of the season.
Team Kokua had a standout day on the water.
In the men's race, Kenny, Nari, and Kaisei led the front pack throughout the entire 11km lap around the lake. Nari took the win with a strong sprint to the finish, Kaisei came in close behind in second, and Kenny rounded out the podium in third.
In the women's race, Natsumi claimed the top spot once again, while newly joined team member Kanae delivered an impressive performance to finish third.
The event also marked the race debut of the Classic X paddle, with the full team competing on it for the first time. A strong result to kick things off.

Kenny CommentAfter joining this event, I was truly happy to see so many people enjoying the sport of SUP. I’m also incredibly proud of Team Kokua athletes, who have been putting in consistent work day after day, and were able to turn that hard work into strong results.
It was also a very special day for us as the launch of the new Classic X. Not only our team riders, but also many paddlers who had the chance to use it shared amazing feedback with us, and it makes me even more excited for more people to experience this paddle in the near future.
Natsumi CommentThis was my fifth year competing in this race.
There are still many areas I want to improve when it comes to race strategy and my own paddling, but I’m very happy to have achieved five consecutive victories, and even more proud that our entire team was able to stand on the podium together.
This race has the largest number of participants among domestic SUP races, so every year it is an important competition for me. But beyond the race itself, it is also a very special opportunity to connect with paddlers from all over Japan, which is something I always look forward to.
This year again, I had the chance to talk and paddle alongside so many amazing people, and it gave me fresh motivation.
Our team is also growing stronger with more young talent joining, and the energy within the team feels incredible. I’m really excited about what lies ahead for us together.
Nari CommentI was able to finish my first race of the season with a win, which gave me a great start for the year.
The new Classic X created an incredible paddling feeling for me, and because of that I’m even more excited for the races ahead this season.
I’ll continue pushing myself even harder so I can perform at my absolute best.
Kanaei CommentThis was my very first time competing at the Yamanakako SUP Marathon, and racing in such a beautiful natural environment with Mt. Fuji right in front of me was incredibly exciting and so much fun.
I want to turn the frustration I felt from this race into motivation for the next one, and continue building through more training.
Another thing that made this event special was meeting so many amazing people throughout the race. It was truly inspiring for me.
I hope to see all of you again at another race somewhere soon! :)

Of course race results are important, but what I enjoyed most was being able to gather with people from all over, share our passion for SUP, and simply enjoy spending time together.
We rarely get to see each other, and everyone trains in different places and environments, but being able to inspire and push each other forward like this makes me feel incredibly grateful.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again at the next race. Thank you!
